Neck Lift
The neck, like all parts of our body, is exposed to negative effects such as aging and gravity and sags over time. Genetic effects, weight gain and loss and sunlight are added to these negative effects and disrupt the aesthetics of the neck. If wrinkles and sagging in the neck area are obvious, neck lift should be applied. If there is fat and excess in the jowl area, it is possible to get rid of this problem with laser liposuction.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have sagging and wrinkles on your neck or if you are over a certain age, you may need neck lift surgery. This procedure can be done together with a facelift or it can be done alone. If there is an excess or regional lubrication in the jowl area, these problems will be eliminated with laser lipo application. If you are a smoker, you should definitely quit 2 weeks before the surgery. If you are using blood thinners (such as aspirin), you must stop it 10 days in advance.
Neck lift is performed under general anesthesia. If only this surgery is to be performed, a small incision is made just below the chin. Looseness and sagging in the neck (platysma) are removed with special techniques. Excess skin is removed. If there is excess fat, liposuction can be added to this surgery. If it is to be applied together with a face lift, the stretching process is performed by stretching the muscle system called SMAS on the face and the platysma, which is its continuation in the neck, so that the scars are brought behind the ear. The average duration of the operation is 2-3 hours. If jowl aesthetics is to be performed with laser liposuction, it is done by making a very small incision just under the chin.
After the neck lift, you will be discharged on the same day with dressing and a special corset. If a drain is placed, it will be removed after 2 days. The corset is worn for 24 hours for approximately 1 week, and only at night for approximately 2 weeks after 1 week. It should be used for at least 3 weeks in total.
After this stage, you can start light sports. You can start your job after 1 week, after 3-4 days you will be able to do housework. There may be a feeling of tension after the surgery, but it will gradually pass and you will become more comfortable over time. There may be mild pain. This can be easily controlled with painkillers. If you have had chin surgery with liposuction, you can be sent to home after the operation.
